Paris 4 Free

Have you heard that France is the third most popular destination in the world for young people? This doesn’t really surprise us because the capital lives up to it!

Did you also know that entry to the permanent collections of the museums and national monuments in Paris is free of charge for citizens younger than 26 years of age who reside in one of the 28 European countries? In the capital of France, you can do many things that won’t cost you a penny, like visit the Louvre, Conciergerie or Sainte-Chapelle, for example. And when you receive guests of other ages, remember that access is free for everyone on the first Sunday of every month. This goes for the Musée d’Art moderne, the Centre Georges Pompidou and the wonderful Musée d’Orsay.

We mustn’t forget the tricks for eating cheaply. Smaller budgets won’t suffer because we have the answer to your prayers, which is none other than the university restaurants. Also known as “restos U”, they are a miracle in your Erasmus life; a total of 16 establishments located near the major universities of Paris where your student card can give you access to a full menu for only 3.15 €. The best thing is that they also accept international student cards.

So now you know, keep an eye on Iberia Joven because we will keep giving you advice and recommendations so that Paris costs you less.
